## What we collect, and why

We only collect what a building-materials enquiry actually needs.

**When you send an enquiry, request a quotation or download the catalogue** we collect your name, phone number, email address, city or delivery pincode, company name if you give it, and what you are asking about. We use it to quote, to arrange dispatch, and to follow up on that enquiry. Without this we cannot respond to you at all.

**When you leave a review** we collect the name and city you type, and the review text. We publish it after checking it.

**When you apply for a job or a dealership** we collect what you send us, and keep it while we consider the application.

**When you simply browse** the site stores a few technical items on your device — your quotation list, your dark-mode choice, dismissed announcements and your cookie decision. Analytics is only collected if you agree to it in the cookie banner.

**When you contact us on WhatsApp** the conversation happens inside WhatsApp, under Meta’s own terms. We keep the enquiry details in our records the same way we would a phone call.

## The legal basis

We rely on your **consent**, which you give by submitting a form or accepting cookies, and on the **legitimate uses** permitted by the Act — chiefly responding to something you voluntarily asked us for, and meeting our obligations under tax and company law.

## Who else sees it

We do not sell your data. Ever. We share it only with:

– our own staff who handle the enquiry;
– a transporter, when they need a delivery address and a contact number;
– a dealer near you, if you asked to be connected with one;
– our email and hosting providers, who process it on our instruction;
– Google Analytics, and only if you accepted analytics cookies;
– any authority that is legally entitled to demand it.

Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where that happens, the transfer is limited to what the service needs to function, in line with the Act.

## How long we keep it

Enquiry and quotation records are kept for 3 years so we can honour warranty claims and answer questions about past supply, and longer where tax law requires. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Reviews stay published until you ask us to remove them.

## Your rights

Under the Act you may:

– **ask what we hold** about you and how it has been used;
– **have it corrected** if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date;
– **have it erased**, unless we are legally required to keep it;
– **withdraw consent** at any time — that stops future processing, though it does not undo what was already done lawfully;
– **nominate someone** to exercise these rights if you die or become incapable;
– **complain** to us first, and to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it.

To use any of these, write to the grievance officer below. We respond within thirty days, usually much sooner.

## Children

This is a business-to-business website. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen, and we do not target children in any advertising.

## Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Enquiry data sits in our website database with restricted access, protected by form security tokens and rate limiting. We do not store card or bank details on this website at all. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach ever affects your data we will inform you and the Board as the Act requires.

## Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we use existing data, tell you directly.
